Our basic rates for chimney cleaning will vary from
$150.00 and up for a single standard open brick fireplace, depending on the area
you live and time of year.
Add $75.00 for a second fireplace.
How long does it take to clean a standard open brick fireplace?
Not
including driving time -
It generally takes 30 to 45 minutes to clean
one fireplace "up to 2 hours."
It generally takes 60 to 90 minutes to clean
two fireplaces "up to 3 hours."
The time needed depends on how dirty the fireplace is, the access to the fireplace, ash pit, top of the chimney and size of the smoke chamber and flue liner to be cleaned. As well as weather conditions and how many questions our customers may need answered from our friendly chimney sweeper.
What do I need to do before you clean my fireplace?
1) Do
not have a fire the night before it is to be cleaned, in many cases the fire
is still burning the next day.
2) Remove things from the hearth and things
that are 6 feet directly in front of the fireplace. You do not need to move things
off the mantle.
3) It would be appreciated if you could leave a parking spot
close to the door entrance for easy access so we may bring in our equipment.
Is the job messy, will there be soot on my furniture or rugs after?
